I have omitted confidential information in this case study. All information is my own and does not necessarily reflect the views of BLEXR.
Casino Reviews was a newly acquired domain by BLEXR. Still meant to be an affiliate marketing site for casinos.
They wanted it to be the first of many new brands they intended to launch in the iGaming market. So we needed a replicable process that allowed us to create other products that could stand on their own and not compete within the same niche.
Our goal was to build a brand fast and simple, and validate that the process used on the rebrand of the main product could be replicated for new business ideas.
My role was to define requirements, run workshops for strategy, discovery, and defining brand attributes. I also led the execution of the visual identity, and UX/UI design.
Since they already had a pretty large product in the same market, our main goal was to position this product in a way that would compliment the company's portfolio.
Differently from their slots focused brand (VSO), this brand would target users aiming to play different games at casinos.
By offering a more pragmatic approach, focusing on transparency and objective reviews, with a matter-of-fact tone we positioned Casino Reviews as a trustworthy reference in the industry. To be a unbiased reference and mediator for players to use as their guide.
